Warranty

Every piece carries a five-year structural warranty. This warranty is given by Chrome Pieces Pty Ltd and is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them.

What is covered

Structural failure under normal domestic use: welds separating, frames deforming, joints failing, or fixings pulling through.

Manufacturing defects in the finish that are present on delivery, such as blistering, delamination or pitting that was not caused by use.

What is not covered

Surface scratching, swirl marks and fingerprints. Mirror-polished steel marks readily — this is a property of the material, not a defect, and it is why care instructions ship with every piece.

Damage from misuse, alteration, commercial use, outdoor exposure, or cleaning with abrasive or solvent-based products.

Normal wear, and changes in appearance from age or light exposure.

Damage occurring in transit, which is handled under the returns policy instead and has no time limit condition beyond prompt reporting.

Making a claim

Email us with your order reference and photographs of the fault. We may ask for further images or a short video.

If the claim is accepted we will repair the piece, replace it, or refund it — the choice of remedy is ours for a non-major failure, and yours for a major failure, as the Australian Consumer Law provides.

Claims are assessed within ten business days.

Assessed by us. Where a repair is impractical because of the piece's origin, we replace or refund rather than shipping it overseas.

Remade to your original specification. Because each is finished individually, there may be slight variation from the original.

Replaced with the same model. If it has been discontinued, we offer the nearest equivalent or a full refund.
