We make every piece to order. That means when you commission a Hero or a True C, it does not yet exist — and over the following weeks, it is brought into being specifically for you. The wait is real. So is the reason for it.
Nothing made in advance, nothing wasted
Holding finished furniture in stock means guessing — guessing demand, guessing finishes, and discounting hard on whatever you guessed wrong. Made-to-order removes the guess. We buy material for your piece, in your finish, and nothing is built on speculation. Less waste, and no pressure to move dead stock with a sale.
It also keeps the catalogue honest. We can offer three pieces, done properly, rather than thirty designed to fill a showroom.
A made-to-order piece has one owner from the first cut of steel. That is a different relationship to an object.
What the eight weeks buy you
The lead time is the work: cutting and forming, welding, the long arc of polishing, inspection, and protective packing for the journey. None of it can be meaningfully rushed without showing in the finish. We would rather tell you ten weeks and be right than promise two and apologise.
When it arrives, it arrives once — correct, considered, and yours. We think that is worth waiting for.
